OurTomSawyer was our first horse. He presented as a foundering, scrawny, dull-coated withdrawn animal with spinal imbalances & infection. NanaCea Racing Stables put OurTomSawyer through an evaluation and then into a rehabilitation program that consisted of both nutritional supplementation, dietary changes as well as physical therapy/chiropractic. Now he has claimed the winner's circle at Turf Paradise race track in Phoenix, AZ. The photos show a bit of the changes he went through as Nana Patricia McPeak introduced stabilized rice bran derivatives into his diet. Keep your eye on Tom to appear many times in the winner's circle.

Quietly standing in this photo, is OurTomSawyer as he appears on day #1 of the NanaCea Racing Stables program. He is thin, and lacks both confidence and presence.
OurTomSawyer at the very beginning of his rehabilitation benefiting from equine chiropractic adjustment. He will experience both physical therapy and the Equine Conditioning Platform for racehorses, tailored for his particular growth needs.
Mid-month finds OurTomSawyer still in need of putting on a few pounds.
OurTomSawyer toward the end of his first month of rehabilitation. His stance is firmer, his muscles are fuller and beginning to show more tone. He is also beginning to relax, yet showing increased presence.
OurTomSawyer on Day 30 of equine rehab. This photo captures his improved posture, better coat texture and a firmer, fuller muscle tone. He radiates more self-confident, as well.
